Colts move to 10-0 with 17-15 win over Ravens

Middle linebacker Gary Brackett intercepted a Joe Flacco pass at the Indianapolis Colts 17-yard line with 2:42 to play Sunday to preserve the Colts’ 17-15 victory over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.
Matt Stover put the Indianapolis Colts (10-0) ahead to stay with a 25-yard field goal with 7:02 to play. Stover played for the Ravens (5-5) the first 13 years of their existence but was not signed by the club after the 2008 season.
He signed with the Colts on Oct. 14 to handle placekicking duties while Adam Vinatieri recovers from knee surgery and sent the sellout crowd of 71,320 home disappointed.
The victory was the Colts’ 19th in succession in regular-season games. New England holds the NFL record with 21, 2006-08.
Colts quarterback Peyton Manning completed 21-of-31 passes for 299 yards, one short of his ninth 300-yard game of the season. Manning threw one touchdown pass with two interceptions.
Wide receiver Pierre Garcon caught six passes for 108 yards and wide receiver Reggie Wayne had six receptions for 88 yards.
Billy Cundiff, a free agent signed earlier this week, tied a Ravens club record by kicking five field goals, but missed once, from 30 yards.
The Colts had three turnovers, including a fumble by tight end Tom Santi at the Baltimore 1.
Baltimore quarterback Joe Flacco completed 23-of-35 passes for 256 yards but couldn’t get the Ravens into the end zone. Wide receiver Derrick Mason caught nine passes for 142 yards.
The Colts held a 14-12 lead at halftime.
Two of Cundiff’s four field goals over the first 30 minutes were set up by Manning interceptions.
The Colts scored on a 3-yard pass from Manning to tight end Dallas Clark, a touchdown that was set up by wide receiver Pierre Garcon’s 66-yard reception, and on a 5-yard run by Joseph Addai.
Clark’s touchdown was the 321st catch of his seven-year career. It moved him past Pro Football Hall of Fame member John Mackey on the club career list for receptions by a tight end.
